Level Designer (November 2019 – May 2021)
Designed multi-layered, reusable levels for Crimson Wastes, Echoing Ruins, and Fractured Wastes, shaping combat encounters, narrative beats, and boss battles. Led blockout, gameplay setup, and encounter design to create dynamic and immersive spaces.
Owned the design and balance of the Daily Challenge mode, collaborating with the Game Director at Housemarque and Sony’s UI/UX team to craft engaging, competitive experiences.
Worked alongside the Lead Designer to develop Returnal’s co-op mode and social mechanics, including the scout corpse system, giving players a unique way to interact asynchronously.
Handled localisation implementation using Sony LAMS, ensuring seamless adaptation across various languages.
